In this podcast, Chuck Emanuel, a farmer from North Bend and member of the Nebraska Corn Growers Association, discusses the organization's annual leadership program, which involves spending time in Washington, D.C., meeting with Nebraska's Congressional delegation and several agriculture organizations. "The leadership program helps us better understand how things work in D.C. and how we can be more involved in policy-making," he said.
The group also had meetings with embassies, where they had the opportunity to talk about Nebraska agriculture and the importance of free and open trade.
